Who restores the aircraft? All of our aircraft are restored to flying condition by a variety of restoration facilities in many countries, and then the routine aircraft maintenance is performed by the technician at the our maintenance facility, The Fighter Factory, in Suffolk, Va. Where does the museum find the aircraft? Museum aircraft are found literally all over the world. The aircraft you see in the museum have been found in Russia, Germany and Canada just to name a few. When do the museum aircraft fly? Museum aircraft often attend air shows and other special events around the country, and takeoff from our museum and then land there when they return. In addition, museum aircraft are often demonstrated for public at the museum during special events held at the museum. Check the our flight schedule or call the museum. Do all the aircraft in the museum fly? With very few exceptions, the answer is yes. We are very proud of the fact that most of our museum aircraft have been restored to flying condition, and are often seen flying to and from our museum. Can I buy a ride in a museum aircraft? Sorry No. The museum is not equipped or insured to offer rides to the public.
Do you have a list of the aircraft on display in the museum? We are currently constructing dedicated pages to list all our aircraft.
