Re-enactors

WW1 Airshow - Bi-Planes and Tri-Planes
Immerse Yourself in the Western Front
Each year, men and women passionate about bringing the era back to life join the air show and set up camp near the runway. Talk to them and learn what life was like fighting in The War to End All Wars. Hear the stories, touch the uniforms, and gain some understanding into what the brave men and women fighting overseas endured.

Bring Your Unit to the Show
Re-enactors will begin arriving for set-up on Friday afternoon and their encampments will be situated alongside our mile long turf runway. Come by early on Saturday and learn about their individual units, past history, military gear, and see them dressed in their uniforms. It will be like stepping back in time to imagine what these young men would have encountered in the combat field, so far away from their homes.
If you’d like to bring your unit to the show, we’d love to have you. Simply download a Registration Form or contact Scott Rall by email or phone (240) 210-8233.
