The museum’s 1941 WWII Jeep was part of the Veteran’s Day Parade on November
11th at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Riding in the jeep were 3 veterans representing
5 different wars . On this beautiful sunny day, many turned out to pay tribute
to our veterans. At the close of the parade, our P-40 Kittyhawk, flown by Ray
Scott, soared over the Tidewater Memorial across from the Virginia Beach Convention
Center. Veterans received free admission to the museum from November 11th –
16th. |
