Morris Fine

Morris H. Fine was born in Norfolk, Virginia. A graduate of Granby High School, he attended college and Law School at the University of Virginia. Mr. Fine has been practicing law since 1955 with Fine, Fine, Legum & McCracken, LLP and their predecessors and is an active member of the Runnymede Corporation’s Executive Team.

Morris served in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps and retired from the Navy Reserve as Commander.

He has served as Chairman of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, Chairman and Trustee of the Virginia Aquarium, President of the Virginia Beach Library Foundation and President and Trustee of the Virginia Beach Foundation. Mr. Fine is a member of the Virginia Beach Bar Association, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, Virginia Family Law Committee, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. In 2015, he was the recipient of the Barron F. Black Community Builder award from the Hampton Roads Community Foundation, which honors a Hampton Roads professional adviser for out standing community service, support of philanthropy, and dedication to improving life in the region.

Morris presently resides in Virginia Beach with his wife. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
