Patrick Hand

Patrick Hand received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, College Park with a major in Art and minoring in Business. Patrick has been designing and building for 35 years. Most of his work is waterfront residential but also includes hotel and other commercial properties. He has been a partner in two successful Virginia Beach hotels and served on the board of one. Patrick built and managed a boutique hotel in Cape Charles and has extensive experience in buying and improving real estate, real estate marketing and both historic and conservation tax credits.

Patrick served three years on the Northampton County, VA School Board. He has also served on steering committees for comprehensive zoning plans for Northampton County and the town of Cape Charles, as well as various business and civic league boards.

Mr. Hand has had a passion for aviation since he was a child. He has purchased, improved and sold at a profit five aircraft. Hecurrently owns and flies a Cessna 206. He has built and maintains three aircraft hangars and two FAA registered grass landing strips (VG39 and 3VG2).
