Rosemary Wilson

Rosemary Wilson is a member of the Virginia Beach City Council and also served on the Virginia Beach School Board from 1996 to 2000. Rosemary began her professional life as a teacher, having earned her B.S. in Education from Old Dominion University.

Rosemary Wilson is a lifelong resident of Virginia Beach, whose strong leadership has delivered positive results. She has served as chair of the Lynnhaven House Board, chair of the Virginia Municipal League’s Human Development and Education Committee and chair of the Capital Campaign for the Colonial Education Center at Lynnhaven House. She has served on the Friends of the Library Board, the Old Dominion University Alumni Board and as fellow for the Sorenson Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia.

Rosemary is an award-winning realtor and a member of the Hampton Roads Realtors Association, having served clients in real estate for more than 19 years. Raising money for cancer research (Letscrushcancer.org) has been a passion of hers to beat this horrible disease.
