As the war in the Pacific pivoted to Island hopping, land based aircraft operations were conducted from forward airfields with a mixture of Army, Navy and Marine Corps aircraft. Help us mark the 80th Anniversary of the founding of the Cactus Air Force on Guadalcanal with a special combo demonstration featuring two of their assigned aircraft types.
