We're launching a community-powered effort to fly our fully restored Japanese Zero fighter aircraft to the Military Aviation Museum's collection. The Zero and its escort plane carrying spare parts, artifacts, and luggage must fly over 2,500 miles in short hops from Everett, Washington to Virginia Beach, VA.

The Collection

The Pacific Theater

Bringing our fully restored Japanese Zero back to our collection will allow us to tell the story of the Allied liberation of the Pacific Theater during WWII. The collection holds other Pacific theater warbirds and a pane of witness glass from Hangar #2 Wheeler Army Airfield in Oahu, Hawaii that was simultaneously attacked during the sinking of the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor. Zero Day

Escorted Arrival

The Japanese Zero will be escorted by an historic American Navy fighter where it will land at the Yagen Airfield at the Military Aviation Museum. Zero Day will occur in early fall 2026, so be sure to bookmark our website.
