Museum Rules and Regulations for Birthday Parties:
- Abide by Military Aviation Museum’s rules and regulations in the exhibit spaces. No touching of the aircraft, vehicles, or exhibits. No running through the museum. Be aware of low hanging objects when walking around the aircraft on display to avoid injury or damage.Â
- Birthday party hosts may schedule a site visit before making a reservation.Â
- Must book at least 2 weeks in advance.
- Maximum of 36 party participants. This participant limit includes all adults, infants, toddlers and children attending the scheduled party. We require a ratio of one adult for every five children.
- $100 deposit to hold the date must be paid on the day the reservation is processed. Balance due for the reservation must be paid at least five days before the party date.Â
- Cancellations made up to five days in advance will receive a 100% refund.
- Reservation confirmations will be emailed within the week reservations are made.Â
- Confirmation on the number attending the party must be made at least five days prior to the party date. (Maximum of 36 with a ratio of at least 1 adult to 5 children.)
- Access to the party room will be available 15 minutes before the party start time.
- The cake, brownies, cupcakes, cookies, or donuts provided by the party host must be baked by a professional baker such as Harris Teeter, Wegmans, Food Lion, Walmart, or Carvel.
- Candles, balloons, glitter, confetti, and sparklers are not permitted in the Military Aviation Museum (MAM).
- Table top decorations are accepted but no decorations may be hung from the walls or ceiling.Â
- Bubble blowing machines will be permitted for outside use only.
- Piñatas are allowed for outside use only and must be hand held. Piñatas cannot be tied to any trees, poles, cars, or signs.Â
- If behavior of party participants is deemed unacceptable during the scheduled party time, MAM reserves the right to ask birthday party members to leave without refund.Â
- Party hosts will be held responsible for any damage to the party room or Military Aviation Museum’s property or collections. Property damage will result in an automatic request of party attendees to leave the premises and an assessment of the costs of damages against the party host.Â
- During Military Aviation Museum’s guided tour, we ask that party participants be aware of and avoid disturbing other Museum guests. Party members should remain with the party group at all times and keep voices at indoor levels.Â
- After the party is over, the party room is closed. All items must be removed from the party room and museum when the two hour party time has ended. All party attendees are invited to stay and tour the rest of the museum. Any guests not included in the party count must pay regular admission fees.Â
- Party hosts are responsible for all unattended children before, during, and after the party. It is not the responsibility of MAM’s volunteers and staff to care for children awaiting pickup. Party hosts must stay until all children have left the buildings.Â
- Party hosts are responsible for any food allergy concerns.Â
- No alcoholic beverages permitted.
- Parking – There are 90 paved parking spaces and two large grassy overflow parking lots available on site.Â
- There is absolutely NO smoking anywhere inside any of the Museum’s facilities or on the Museum ramp.Â
- No animals or pets are allowed inside the Museum at any time, unless they are a trained service animal.
- The birthday party host is ultimately responsible for a thorough clean up. The Museum will assess a $300.00 cleanup fee to the party host if the facility is not returned to its original state of cleanliness following the conclusion of the party host’s event.Â
